When to Submit Your Reading

  • Submit your meter reading between the 1st and 15th of each month.

  • This ensures accurate billing and uninterrupted service.

 

 

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Only submit whole numbers—do not include tenths or decimals.

  • Make sure your meter is clear of snow, ice, or other obstructions.

  • If you notice any damage or have difficulty reading your meter, call us immediately.

How to Read Your Propane Meter

We appreciate your help in reporting your propane usage. Follow these simple steps to read your meter and submit your reading accurately.

Odometer-Style Meter

You’ll see a series of numbers similar to your car’s odometer.

1.  Locate the row of numbers on your meter.

2.  Read the numbers from left to right.

3.  Record all the numbers you see.

Example:
If your meter reads 012345, report it as 012345.

Dial-Style Meter

This type has multiple small dials, each with numbers from 0–9.

1.  Read each dial from left to right.

2.  If the pointer is between two numbers, record the lower number.

3.  If the pointer is directly on a number, check the dial to the right:

    • If the next dial hasn’t passed zero, record the lower number.

Example:
If a dial hand is between 4 and 5, write down 4.

💡 Tip: The direction of the dials alternates—some run clockwise, others counterclockwise
